1/2 Day Nature Experience

Our 1/2 day NaturesGems tours start at 9am and finish around 1pm. On average we will cover around 3 miles (5km) with plenty of stops for photos and wildlife watching.

We will spend the morning exploring one of the amazing nature reserves round the edge of Morecambe Bay. We currently use a number of different sites for the 1/2 day experiences - these include Arnside Knott, Gaitbarrows National Nature Reserve and Sizergh Estate. These sites all host an abundance of wildflowers including rare orchids, as well as being home to a wide variety of birds, butterflies and other wildlife. Sites will be selected depending on time of year, what there is to see and weather conditions.

1/2 day tours usually run Wednesday to Saturday. If the date you wish to join us is not listed below then please contact us to check if the date you require is available. We may be able to run additional dates with a minimum of two people.

Upon booking you will receive an email with confirmation of your booking, general information about what to bring etc, along with contact details for your tour leader. Check out the Experiences page for more details.

5 days before your tour you will receive details of the designated meeting point and confirmed timings. This means we can be flexible to offer you the best possible experience.

Price is per person and includes a vegetarian picnic lunch of tasty wholesome local produce.
